Senior Solutions Architect, AWS Aerospace & Satellite

Salary: £63,000 - 103,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require 8+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
• We require 3+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructures.
• We require 10+ years of experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
• We require experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-level stakeholders or clients.
• We prefer 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
• We prefer experience working with end user or developer communities.
• We prefer experience in a technical role within a sales organization.

Responsibilities:

• We work directly with customers to accelerate their missions and recommend best-practice architectures aligned with their long-term business outcomes.
• We build technical relationships with customers and act as their trusted advisor.
• We share the voice of the customer to help inform the AWS feature roadmap.
• We participate in creating and sharing best practices, technical content, and new reference architectures such as white papers, code samples, and blog posts.
• We evangelize and educate others about AWS technology through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos, and conferences.
• We contribute to the growth of the Solutions Architecture organization by interviewing candidates and participating in hiring decisions.
• We help others develop new skills through knowledge sharing.
• We develop areas of depth in technical domains relevant to our interests and our customers outcomes.
