Senior Software Engineer

Salary: £50,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:

• Significant commercial experience developing services and APIs with C#, .NET Core, Mongo and/or SQL, using techniques such as domain-driven design and MVC.
• Strong technical background in web development with Angular, React, or VueJs.
• Experience developing HTTP-based APIs and implementing RESTful services with JSON.
• Thorough understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience practicing Test Driven Development and working with various test frameworks and concepts.
• Proven record of developing scalable, highly available, and highly performing middle-tier components.
• Familiarity with containerisation and tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solutions on AWS.
• Understanding of the principles behind highly performing web pages.
• Experience or familiarity with Entity Framework Core.
• Experience or familiarity with communications technologies such as Web API and Google Protocol Buffers, and message queues such as RabbitMQ and SQS.
• Experience with Agile, SCRUM, or SAFe.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High motivation, drive, and enthusiasm.
• E-commerce and/or financial services experience.
