Senior Software Developer

Salary: £45,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require a STEM degree or equivalent.
• We require at least 3 years of experience in software development.
• We require competence in object-oriented software design, with an appreciation of coding and design for maintainability, extensibility, testability, and reuse.
• We require knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservice design patterns.
• We require experience developing in C# .NET or similar.
• We require strong communication skills, with experience working closely with other developers.

Responsibilities:

• We collaborate with software engineers to design and develop core features of CONNECT.
• We optimize platform scalability, reliability, and performance to meet evolving industry standards.
• We diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across platform services and interfaces.
• We monitor and analyse platform metrics to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• We participate in continuous improvement efforts, including code reviews, testing, and planning as part of an agile development team.
