Senior Product Designer

Salary: £60,000 - 65,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience in Product Design
• Experience with Design Systems, ideally using Figma
• Strong UI and Visual Design skills
• Knowledge of Accessibility standards, including WCAG
• Experience in Interaction Design and Prototyping
• Experience designing B2C digital products
• Experience in eCommerce, retail, loyalty, marketplace, or membership platforms
• Experience mentoring or coaching Product or UX Designers
• Ability to work closely with engineers and understand implementation considerations
• Hands-on senior-level design experience with a focus on product design rather than management

Responsibilities:

• Own and evolve our design system
• Raise the standard of visual design across our products and business
• Transform validated UX ideas into polished, intuitive product experiences
• Shape the design language used across our products
• Ensure our experiences are accessible, consistent, and beautifully executed
• Mentor other UX Designers through design reviews, coaching, and sharing best practice
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers
• Influence how products are built and implemented
• Contribute to the design of products supporting more than 2.8 million members
• Help guide the design function during a major period of change, including a digital rebrand and new mobile products

We are a product-led organisation investing heavily in our Product, UX, and Engineering capability. Over the last 12 months, we have built a strong UX function with dedicated designers focused on research, discovery, and validation, and we are now looking for a hands-on Senior Product Designer to bring those ideas to life. This is a permanent hybrid role based in Manchester, with three days onsite, offering up to £65,000 plus bonus and private healthcare. You will join during a major period of change, with a full digital rebrand underway and new mobile products being introduced, working alongside a collaborative Product and Engineering team while remaining close to the work.
