Senior Drupal Developer

Salary: £49,000 - 65,000 per year

Requirements:

• We have extensive knowledge and experience of Drupal, advanced PHP and MySQL.
• Experience with WordPress, Symfony, Laravel, and other PHP tools is a bonus.
• We have experience with Git, Bash, GNU Make, various command line tools, Apache/nginx servers, and DDEV.
• We have a good understanding of advanced object-oriented PHP, namespacing, dependency injection, and related concepts.
• We must be comfortable reviewing others code as well as producing our own.
• We have the confidence and communication skills to engage directly with clients and explain proposed solutions.
• We must have fluent written and spoken English.
• Experience working for non-profit clients is desirable.

Responsibilities:

• We work as part of an in-house development team and collaborate closely with project managers, digital designers, content strategists, and technical leads.
• We develop the back end of new websites and other digital products.
• We update existing websites through maintenance and new functionality work.
• We build main websites, smaller sites, and other products, including our own tools and services.
• We may work on the support desk on a rotational basis across the development team.
• We act autonomously and take responsibility for our own projects, with support when needed.
• We typically work on one major project at a time, seeing it through to completion.
• We may handle smaller chunks of work on existing sites through our Continuous Improvement packages.
