Senior Data Scientist

Salary: £75,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in a Data Science, AI, or ML-related role

Responsibilities:

• Design and build machine learning models for forecasting, propensity modelling, and customer segmentation.
• Own end-to-end data workflows, including feature creation, data wrangling, model tuning, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Architect datasets by combining structured and semi-structured data to generate robust insights.
• Operationalise models using ML Ops and support continuous delivery and integration with cloud-based systems.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and client teams to align technical outputs with business outcomes.
• Interpret and visualise results, turning statistical outputs into decision tools.
• Experiment with methods, technologies, and approaches to improve model performance and interpretability.
• Set an example in code quality, experimentation, and reproducibility.
• Coach and mentor junior data scientists.

Reporting to our Chief Technology Officer, this hands-on Senior Data Scientist role focuses on building and scaling deployable, explainable AI/ML solutions for commercial goals. It is not a research role; the work spans forecasting, customer segmentation, churn prediction, and commercial optimisation.
