Job Description
Salary: £40,000 - 55,000 per year
Requirements:- Minimum of 5 years of multi-network exposure, including hands-on experience designing and managing secure networks
- Experience with Cisco firewalls, routers, and switches
- Knowledge of compliance standards such as ISO27001 and ITIL
- Experience with security toolsets including SIEM and IDS/IPS
- Experience with penetration testing tools
- Experience with Juniper platforms
- Must hold, or be able to easily achieve, SC Security Clearance
- Excellent organisation with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail
- Desirable: telecommunications background with knowledge of satcom and/or maritime communications
- Desirable: experience with UK MOD/Government networks
- Develop information security plans and policies
- Implement protections and solutions to ensure and enforce information security plans and policies
- Act as a centre of excellence for network and device security
- Design, build, test, commission, and troubleshoot security solutions including IDS/IPM/SIEM
- Write and maintain configuration and reconfiguration documentation, schematics, support guides, and other required documentation
