Scrum Master

Salary: £28,000 - 45,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar Scrum Master role, ideally within cross-functional agile teams.
• Stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience working with stakeholders at different levels.
• A strong passion for agile software delivery.
• In-depth knowledge and application of agile principles, frameworks, methodologies and practices.
• Proven skills and knowledge in servant leadership, coaching, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement and empowerment.
• Experience supporting and creating agile training materials for delivery teams and the wider organisation.
• Experience supporting Product Owners with creating, prioritising and managing backlogs.
• Knowledge of techniques for effective Product Goal definition, refinement and Product Backlog management to support customer value delivery.
• Ability to coach, mentor, teach and share knowledge.
• Self-motivation and innovative thinking to develop outside-the-box solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate purposeful, effective and action-oriented Scrum events, and encourage continuous improvement.
• Create a safe environment where teams can experiment with new opportunities and industry ideas, and work with them to inspect and adapt when plans do not go as expected.
• Guide teams towards self-organisation and promote a collaborative culture built on problem-solving, trust and feedback.
• Work with teams to resolve impediments to progress and support the removal of impediments beyond their control.
• Coach teams in our agile ways of working and processes, helping them develop a high-performing, delivery-focused culture.
• Support Product Owners and development teams by encouraging clear, concise backlog items and assisting with backlog management and value delivery.
• Contribute actively to our Global Agile Community and organisation-wide agile initiatives.
