SC Cleared Solution Architect (OCI and HVR)

Requirements:

• Strong experience with HVR data replication and ingestion technologies
• Proven background designing solutions within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Experience delivering data integration, landing zone and ingestion architectures
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security and encrypted data transfer
• Experience producing High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs)
• Knowledge of data storage, lifecycle management and capacity planning
• Experience working within secure or highly regulated environments
• Excellent stakeholder management and documentation skills
• Active SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain it
• Desirable: MOD, Defence or Government project experience
• Desirable: Familiarity with security and governance processes including SbD, DEAB and MOD SOC
• Desirable: Oracle Database and OCI networking expertise
• Desirable: Experience supporting large-scale migration or transformation programmes
• Desirable: Knowledge of Oracle Data Integration services and AI Data Platform solutions

• Design and implement a secure, scalable data integration solution
• Enable the migration of legacy Oracle data warehouse feeds into Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Deliver HVR-based replication solutions
• Establish secure OCI landing zones
• Ensure data is transferred reliably and compliantly within a highly regulated environment
• Work across cloud architecture, data integration and security governance
• Produce High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs)

We are offering a contract Solution Architect role on a long-term public sector programme, working in a hybrid setup that is predominantly remote with occasional travel to London, Bristol and South East sites. This is an opportunity to contribute to a large-scale OCI cloud transformation project, gain exposure to complex secure government environments, and work within a highly regulated setting. We offer a competitive day rate of up to £671 per day, and onboarding may take longer than standard timescales due to enhanced security vetting requirements.
