Job Description

Salary: £41,000 - 81,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Extensive experience as an SAP Solution Lead and Architect in the stated domains and complex automotive environments.
  • Deep knowledge of SAP Sales and Distribution, Vehicle Management System, and Customer Service processes, including integration with SAP modules (MM, PP, FI, VC) and external PLM, CRM, MES, and 3PL solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior business and IT stakeholders.
  • Experience defining and implementing SAP capabilities in the stated domains.
  • Experience using SAP Activate, agile, hybrid-agile, or waterfall delivery methods across full project lifecycles.
  • Knowledge or experience with embedded analytics, SAP Integration Suite, and cloud integration patterns.
  • Familiarity with SAP Business Transformation Management capabilities, including Cloud ALM, Signavio, WalkMe, and testing automation tools.
Responsibilities:
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, commercial processes, and operational challenges.
  • Design end-to-end SAP solutions for the roles scoped domains.
  • Define scalable, fit-to-standard solutions using SAP best practices and clean core principles.
  • Produce solution blueprints, process designs, and architecture documents, while challenging and guiding SI partners.
  • Ensure solutions support future S/4HANA adoption, business growth, and efficiency targets.
  • Guide stakeholders on S/4HANA capabilities, including embedded analytics, Fiori, and automation opportunities.
  • Support transformation roadmaps that balance business value, operational risk, technical debt reduction, and adoption readiness.

We are hiring a full-time, permanent SAP Sales, Service & VMS Solution Architect in Woking, United Kingdom. The role is part of our IT business area, is designated at management/technical expert level, and follows a 9am–6pm Monday-to-Friday working pattern. You will shape, design, and govern end-to-end SAP solutions for our Commercial business unit across the vehicle lifecycle, supporting vehicle traceability, customer fulfilment, operational efficiency, standardisation, and our transition to SAP S/4HANA. The scope includes SAP ECC EHP8, SAP S/4HANA, SAP VMS, SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, vehicle sales and ordering, allocation, lifecycle management, pricing, dealer and distributor processes, logistics and delivery, customer service, Order-to-Cash, variant configuration, vehicle master data, and integrations.
