SAP QM S/4 HANA Consultant

Salary: £24,000 - 59,000 per year

Requirements:

• We have strong expertise in SAP QM, with SAP S/4HANA preferred.
• We have deep functional knowledge of inspection processing, batch management, quality notifications, and QM reporting.
• We have proven experience in end-to-end QM implementations and global rollouts.
• We have strong experience in global template governance and standardization.
• We have expertise in defining WRICEF objects and functional specifications.
• We have experience in life sciences or regulated industries such as pharma.
• We have SAP S/4 EWM technical know-how and roadmap knowledge at a high level.
• We have exposure to LIMS or external quality systems.
• We are familiar with SAP Fiori apps and UX design principles.
• We have knowledge of audit, compliance, and data governance frameworks.
• We have strong documentation skills, including BBP, Functional Design Documents, SOPs, and training material.
• We have an analytical and problem-solving mindset with structured defect and issue management.
• We have a presales and consulting mindset, including client advisory, value articulation, and roadmap definition.
• We have familiarity with delivery tools such as Solution Manager, JIRA/ALM, and ChaRM.
• We can operate effectively in matrixed, global delivery models.
• We have high analytical skills, initiative, flexibility, customer orientation, quality awareness, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Multilingual proficiency is preferred, and English is required.

Responsibilities:

• We anchor engagement efforts from business process consulting and problem definition through solution design, development, and deployment.
• We lead problem definition and discovery for the overall solution and guide teams on project processes and deliverables.
• We act as thought leaders in our domain and provide key input to architecture and design reviews.
• We anchor business pursuit initiatives, client training, and in-house capability building.
• We shape value-adding consulting solutions that help our clients meet changing global needs.
• We lead end-to-end design, configuration, and rollout of SAP S/4HANA QM processes including inspection planning, results recording, usage decision, and notifications.
• We configure and optimize QM transactions such as QA11, QA12, QA32, and QA33, including selection screens, ALV layouts, and table controls.
• We govern global QM template objects, ensuring adherence to naming standards and rollout guidelines.
• We design and manage batch-related quality processes, including Quality Batch Status, expired batches, and alignment with stock types through enhancements and background jobs.
• We define WRICEF requirements and provide functional specifications for QM developments.
• We drive data quality initiatives by identifying inconsistencies and defining validation, correction, and deletion mechanisms.
• We define and validate QM reporting requirements, including chain-of-custody tracking and event-based reporting.
• We define Fiori app requirements and ensure usability, performance, and adoption through optimized selection criteria.
• We collaborate with security teams to ensure role-based access and resolve authorization issues.
• We ensure compliance with global template standards and seamless integration with MM, PP, and SD.
