QA Software Tester

Salary: £35,000 - 38,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience in software testing.
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies, including regression testing, test planning, and defect management.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently within a remote-first environment.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, or Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) is desirable.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals such as IP addressing, VLANs, routing, and firewalls is desirable.
• Experience testing SaaS or network management applications is desirable.
• Knowledge of API testing or test automation tools is desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Design, write, and execute functional, regression, integration, and unit test cases.
• Identify, record, and manage software defects through to resolution.
• Develop and maintain automated test scenarios using Selenium and Cucumber.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to define clear acceptance criteria.
• Help improve the testing processes and automation strategy.
• Test networking-related functionality within our software platform.
