Principal Electronics and Software Engineer

Salary: £80,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:

• Extensive commercial experience designing, prototyping, and testing electronic circuits and systems, and writing embedded software in C/C++.
• A hands-on approach to technical work, including soldering new boards and diagnosing hardware faults with laboratory equipment.
• A strong academic background with a first or 2:1 degree in engineering from a leading university (UK top 10 or equivalent), plus excellent supporting A-level grades.
• Further post-graduate education would be well received.
• Eligibility to work in the UK without time limits or sponsorship.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of talented engineers developing innovative HealthTech devices from initial concept through to production.
• Provide technical leadership and see the full picture across system architecture and hands-on testing.
• Develop cutting-edge products that meet business and regulatory requirements while delivering innovative solutions.
• Be involved throughout the technical development process.
• Manage a team of engineers.
• Contribute directly to the quality and success of the products we build.
