Requirements:

• We have proven experience supporting the end-to-end delivery of a PMO service with clear standards, consistent execution, and measurable value to contract delivery.
• We have capability in delivery assurance, ensuring high-quality governance, reporting, and control across multiple contracts or programmes.
• We have experience defining and operating a clearly defined PMO catalogue of services.
• We understand and have experience delivering project and programme governance, with the ability to apply methodology pragmatically and at pace.
• We have experience using PMO tools and data as the primary source of delivery insight, producing clear, decision-ready reporting for senior stakeholders.
• We have experience identifying improvements, simplifying PMO processes, and introducing digital or automated solutions to improve efficiency and consistency.
• We have stakeholder management skills, with the ability to identify areas that influence delivery and leadership communities.
• We have Microsoft 365 skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• We have the ability to maintain close connections and strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Desirable: we have experience operating PMO services in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Desirable: we hold an externally recognised qualification such as P30, PRINCE2, MSP, PMQ, or equivalent.
• Desirable: we have proven ability to improve PMO ways of working, simplifying processes, and introducing tools or automation.
• Desirable: we have experience working in the Defence industry.
• We hold active SC clearance due to project restrictions.

• We reduce risk to the business and improve the probability of successful delivery.
• We improve customer satisfaction.
• We ensure we provide a mature set of services to the most deserving contracts, including governance, reporting, risk and issue management, and dependency and obligation management.

We are hiring for a PMO Professional role based in Bristol on a hybrid working basis for a 3-month duration with the possibility of extension. The day rate is £550 inside IR35, and active SC clearance is required due to project restrictions. The role sits within Design and Delivery, supporting complex customer contracts and helping us deliver mature PMO services that strengthen governance, reporting, risk management, and overall delivery performance.
