PLM Technical Consultant / Architect

Salary: £50,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience with Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE deployment, installation, configuration and/or customisation
• Experience with Siemens Teamcenter deployment, installation, configuration and/or customisation
• Experience with SAP PLM deployment, installation, configuration and/or customisation
• Experience with other PLM toolsets, whether for discrete or formulated products
• Expertise in PLM business capabilities and integration architectures related to ERP, MES and EAM
• Direct client delivery experience, ideally across several stages of the delivery lifecycle
• Ability to apply thought leadership and critical thinking to challenges and drive high-quality outcomes
• Deep technical understanding of leading PLM software, including key modules, features and functions and how they interact
• Understanding of how PLM products are architected and how they can be deployed and configured in different client infrastructures
• Understanding of how PLM products can be extended and tailored to meet configuration and customisation needs
• Experience architecting and technically leading the implementation of PLM solutions
• Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented, systematic way of working
• Ability to synthesize complex requirements into an articulate and pragmatic solution
• Ability to support the development of future talent through mentoring, coaching and continuous knowledge transfer

• Support our wider Industry X growth initiatives through skills enablement, asset development and industry eminence
• Define new approaches to help develop our team, increase our knowledge base, develop new assets and methodologies, and create creative responses to clients
• Shape the optimal PLM system centred around COTS PLM software
• Gather client business needs, processes and key user personas and translate them into a robust solution that meets functional and non-functional needs
• Ensure the solution is fit for purpose from an enterprise integration and cost of ownership perspective
• Work closely with program leadership to ensure technical delivery of architected PLM solutions and continuity of stakeholder communications
• Support the development of the next generation of talent through mentoring, coaching and continuous knowledge transfer
