Microsoft Purview Security Consultant

Salary: £45,000 - 52,000 per year

Requirements:

• We have commercial experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Purview solutions.
• We have a strong understanding of Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance technologies.
• We have experience with Microsoft Information Protection, Sensitivity Labels, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Data Lifecycle Management, Records Management, eDiscovery (Standard and Premium), Insider Risk Management, Communication Compliance, and Compliance Manager.
• We understand Microsoft Entra ID and identity security concepts.
• We have experience working in a customer-facing consultancy or professional services environment.
• We have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• We have strong documentation and presentation skills.
• We can gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• We are willing to travel to client sites as required.
• We hold Microsoft Security, Compliance or Azure certifications.
• We have experience with Microsoft Defender technologies.
• We understand GDPR, ISO 27001 and other compliance frameworks.
• We have knowledge of Zero Trust security principles.
• We have experience delivering Microsoft 365 transformation or migration projects.

Responsibilities:

• We design, implement and support Microsoft Purview solutions for enterprise customers.
• We work closely with clients to provide technical expertise across data governance, information protection, compliance and risk management initiatives.
• We engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• We deliver hands-on consulting across a variety of client environments.
• We travel to customer sites when required.
• We support technical pre-sales activities, including customer demonstrations and technical presentations.
• We support proof-of-concept engagements.
• We assist with solution design and proposal creation.
• We respond to RFPs, RFIs and tender submissions.
• We work alongside sales and account management teams.
• We provide technical input during customer workshops and business development activities.
