Junior Business Analyst

Salary: £45,000 - 45,000 per year

Requirements:

• Analytical mindset with the ability to break down problems
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic understanding of process mapping, or a willingness to learn
• Basic understanding of requirements gathering, or a willingness to develop this skill
• Proactive and positive approach to learning
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Interest in IT, business processes and digital transformation
• Previous exposure to SAP is advantageous but not required

Responsibilities:

• Develop a foundational understanding of business systems and processes
• Participate in workshops, meetings and requirements-gathering sessions
• Gather, analyse, validate and document business requirements
• Support business process mapping, gap analysis and requirements definition
• Create and maintain documentation, including requirements lists, process flows and workshop outputs
• Assist with reviewing supplier and project documentation
• Work alongside Senior Business Analysts, IT teams and stakeholders to understand challenges and explore solutions
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to understand their needs
• Provide administrative and analytical support to IT projects
• Develop Business Analysis skills through mentoring, project exposure and collaboration with experienced colleagues
