IT Support Engineer

Salary: £27,500 - 30,000 per year

Requirements:

• Around 2-4 years of IT support experience
• Experience with 1st/2nd line IT support
• Experience with Microsoft 365
• Experience with Entra ID / Active Directory
• Experience with Intune
• Experience with endpoint patching
• Experience with Cyber Essentials or Cyber Essentials Plus
• Basic networking knowledge
• Ability to troubleshoot Windows devices
• Ability to take ownership of internal IT issues
• Experience supporting Cyber Essentials Plus compliance would be particularly valuable

Responsibilities:

• Support and help manage our internal IT environment
• Work with Microsoft 365 / Office 365
• Manage Entra ID / Active Directory
• Support Intune and endpoint management
• Build and deploy laptops
• Handle user onboarding and offboarding
• Support patching and vulnerability management
• Support Cyber Essentials / Cyber Essentials Plus activities
• Support security and compliance activities
• Support internal networking and Wi-Fi
• Contribute to hardware and infrastructure projects
• Maintain IT documentation and asset management

This is an opportunity to move beyond basic service desk work and take more ownership across internal IT, security and infrastructure. Our business is highly technical, with strong expertise across networking, infrastructure, security and automation, and there is genuine scope to develop over time into networking, security, infrastructure projects, client environments and technical consultancy. The role offers a salary of £32,000 and a hybrid working pattern, typically 2-3 days in the office.
