IT Project Manager
Job Description
Salary: £28,000 - 45,000 per year
Requirements:- Proven history of successfully delivering complex IT projects, ideally in an Agile environment
- In-depth understanding of IT processes and a solid grasp of Agile methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build productive working relationships with technical and non-technical colleagues and engage stakeholders across business and technology functions
- Strategic thinking, robust analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Organised and resilient, with the ability to maintain momentum under pressure and deliver consistently
- Risk management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Legal right to work in the United Kingdom; we are unable to offer visa sponsorship
- Shape, drive and lead a diverse mix of complex, high-visibility technology delivery initiatives, typically using Agile or hybrid frameworks
- Drive day-to-day project activity and ensure alignment with scope, quality and delivery expectations
- Coordinate technical teams and the wider Plans business
- Deliver projects in line with governance standards, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, issue resolution and change control
- Maintain accurate project documentation, plans, RAID logs and status reports
- Provide timely, clear reporting to support stakeholder confidence and informed decisions
- Identify and manage project dependencies with wider change programmes, business teams and development teams
- Define project approaches, structures, roles and responsibilities
- Define and manage project scope with business and technical stakeholders
- Lead stakeholder meetings, workshops and checkpoint forums to maintain a shared view of progress and expectations
