IT Manager - Network Manager - School

Salary: £35,000 - 41,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience working as a Senior ICT Technician, Network Manager, Senior IT Technician, or in a similar school IT support role
• Background working within a school or education environment
• Good working knowledge of maintaining ICT hardware and software
• Working knowledge of maintaining networks
• Knowledge of switches, virtual and physical server environments, and backups
• Specific technical experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Hyper-V, and cloud technologies such as Office 365 and Azure
• Ideally, experience upgrading a school IT system
• Friendly and versatile with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management, installation, maintenance, availability, and security of the schools curriculum and administrative ICT network
• Manage the schools ICT hardware and software infrastructure
• Manage school ICT support contracts, technical support, and emergency cover
• Deliver consultative 2nd and 3rd line technical support
• Support the ongoing reliability and security of the schools ICT network
