Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: £30,000 - 32,500 per year

Requirements:

• Practical experience supporting IT infrastructure and systems.
• Experience implementing or supporting IT change, upgrades, migrations or deployments.
• An understanding of change management and controlled implementation processes.
• Experience of testing and validating technical changes.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to document technical work clearly and accurately.
• Experience working collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.
• A willingness to learn new technologies and continuously develop technical capability.

Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of our strategic IT roadmap.
• Work closely with our IT Services Manager, Head of IT and Infrastructure and Change Coordinator.
• Help plan, implement, test and support technology changes across our schools.
• Combine hands-on technical engineering with change delivery.
• Work across infrastructure, technology change and project delivery.
• Improve IT services across our network of schools.
• Support IT systems and infrastructure while contributing to successful change implementation.
