Global Technical Lead - DataCentres

Salary: £38,000 - 78,000 per year

Requirements:

• Advanced level experience in system integration, architecting end-to-end solutions across electrical, mechanical, and digital domains
• Advanced level experience in technical solution design, translating customer requirements into optimized, deliverable proposals
• Advanced level experience in quotation management, structuring competitive bids with accurate technical and cost parameters
• Advanced level experience in requirements analysis, capturing and validating complex customer needs across multiple technologies
• Advanced level experience in risk assessment, identifying technical risks early and embedding mitigation into tender strategies
• Advanced level customer orientation, aligning technical proposals with client priorities and performance targets
• Advanced level influencing skills, guiding cross-functional teams toward consensus on complex technical decisions
• Advanced level knowledge management, leveraging lessons learned to continuously improve tendering outcomes

Responsibilities:

• Ensure global technical consistency and alignment with customer standards across all regions
• Guarantee technical alignment with customer specifications globally
• Define global standards for the customer, including templates and quality expectations
• Prepare onboarding plans for Regional TLs
• Establish requirements for commissioning, site activities, and documentation
• Manage clarification, deviation, and exception files
• Intervene in major customer issues and coordinate resolution
• Audit and monitor consistency of deliverables across regions
• Act as a reference point for best practices and lessons learned
• Assess the impact of recommendations on other regions
• Coordinate a consistent message to consultants
• Assess the technical skills of Regional TLs and provide feedback
• Deliver Account Playbooks, onboarding plans for RTLs, commissioning requirements, RFQ document list reviews and gap analyses, IG/OG offers reviews, design reviews and TTR, CDEs, lead TT campaigns for new solutions, continuous improvement materials, and global standards and templates
