Full Stack Java Software Engineer

Salary: £50,000 - 78,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong commercial experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer.
• Java and Spring Boot development experience.
• React and TypeScript/JavaScript expertise.
• Experience designing and developing APIs.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Experience with Docker and Linux environments.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC), typically requiring British nationality and five years of continuous UK residency.
• Python development experience is desirable.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure or GCP is desirable.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins is desirable.
• DevOps/DevSecOps experience is desirable.
• Experience within secure or highly regulated environments is desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain full stack applications.
• Build front-end solutions using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Develop APIs and back-end services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Work with PostgreSQL/MySQL databases.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.
• Write automated tests and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with developers, architects and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
