Enterprise Data & AI Enablement Lead Vice President

Salary: £62,000 - 102,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience in data-product enablement, developer experience, platform product management, or an equivalent cross-consumer role, ideally in regulated financial services.
• Demonstrated experience defining and managing enterprise data contracts, including SLA design, versioning, deprecation, and change communication across multiple consumer teams.
• Working knowledge of modern data-consumption patterns, including REST/GraphQL APIs, event streams, Data Mesh products, and semantic layers, and how to select the right pattern for each use case.
• Track record of driving adoption of shared services across multiple consuming teams, with measurable evidence of preventing duplicate builds or rationalizing local rebuilds.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills across Technology, Product Owners, Data Science, and business owners, with the ability to uphold consumption standards while remaining pragmatic about sequencing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to structure decisions and status updates for senior management and explain integration choices to non-specialists.
• Ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams and shifting priorities while maintaining quality and control discipline.
• Familiarity with AI tools, including LLM Suite, and an understanding of how governed data foundations support safe AI consumption.
• Working knowledge of Data Mesh, service catalogues, and modern data-catalog and lineage tooling.
• Familiarity with JPMorganChase data standards, CDAO frameworks, and firmwide consumption and entitlement models.
• Experience with common delivery and reporting tools.
• Experience operating in a controlled environment with governance processes, audit interactions, and rigorous documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Reach across the firm and consuming platform teams to understand data-usage requirements and translate them into governed consumption patterns for ORDG data products and shared AI services.
• Establish and own enterprise data contracts that bind consumers to governed data products, including SLAs, versioning, deprecation policy, change communication, and controlled exceptions.
• Define and publish standard consumption patterns, such as APIs, Data Mesh products, event topics, and user utilities, and prevent embedded copies and product-local rebuilds.
• Drive adoption of ORDG shared AI services across consuming applications, identify duplicate or overlapping capabilities, and consolidate them onto the governed service catalogue.
• Partner with the Data Governance & Data Product Lead on lifecycle, quality gates, and certification of consumer-facing products, and with the Data & AI Execution Lead on integration sequencing and delivery milestones.
• Own consumer onboarding, including technical integration, entitlement setup, contract sign-off, and post-launch health of consumer relationships.
• Maintain the shared-service catalogue as a living reference for Risk Management & Compliance and Technology partners, documenting available services, owners, consuming platforms, and adoption guidance.
• Measure and report adoption, including platform coverage, active consumers per service, contract compliance, avoided rebuilds, and consumer satisfaction.
• Work with Technology and the Data Analytics Lead to instrument consumption telemetry and feed adoption signals into product priorities and the AI product backlog.
• Support cross-functional prioritization with the Executive Data Owner and workstream leads, and represent the consumer perspective in the Define & Govern forum and delivery planning.
• Coach consuming teams on the build once, reuse safely principle and identify emerging patterns that should be codified into new shared services.
