Engineer

Salary: £50,000 - 50,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience configuring, deploying and maintaining cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure
• Ability to apply best practice engineering patterns and improve ways of working
• Experience building secure, well-tested and maintainable software
• Strong problem-solving skills, including diagnosing and resolving production issues
• Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate clearly with others
• Experience supporting or mentoring colleagues within a technical environment
• A thoughtful, inclusive and professional approach to work
• Good understanding of Azure cloud technologies, such as App Services, Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Key Vaults, Entra ID, Managed Identity and Azure SQL
• Experience with Azure DevOps functionality, including Git repositories, CI/CD pipelines and ARM/Bicep templates
• Ability to use scripting or programming languages to support Azure infrastructure deployment, such as Python or PowerShell
• Right to work in the UK at the time of application

• Design, build and maintain cloud infrastructure components in the Microsoft Azure platform
• Configure, deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure to keep internal and customer-facing systems running effectively
• Apply and promote best practice engineering patterns to optimise delivery
• Ensure our systems are secure, robust and well tested
• Support and operate services in production, identifying and resolving issues
• Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver valuable outcomes
• Contribute to continuous improvement of tools, processes and ways of working
• Support and mentor other engineers in areas of expertise
