Cyber Security Analyst

Salary: £43,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience in a Cyber Security Analyst, Security Engineer, or Security Operations role
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Security technologies, including Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender XDR
• Experience investigating and responding to cyber security incidents in an enterprise environment
• Good understanding of cloud and network security principles
• Able to work collaboratively across infrastructure, networking, and cloud teams while taking ownership of security issues
• Keen to continue developing technically through exposure to enterprise technologies and funded certifications, including Palo Alto

Responsibilities:

• Investigate, triage, and respond to cyber security incidents across a complex Microsoft environment
• Monitor and manage security events using Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender XDR
• Drive vulnerability management and remediation across cloud, network, and infrastructure environments
• Work closely with an external SOC and internal infrastructure teams to continuously improve our security posture
• Contribute to the ongoing development of security processes, controls, and incident response capabilities

We are a large enterprise organisation investing heavily in our cyber security capability. Based in Wembley, this is a hybrid role with two days per week on site.
