Salary: £70,000 - 82,000 per year

Requirements:

• We need experience in cyber security operations.
• We need a strong technical understanding of modern security tooling and threat detection principles.
• Certifications are highly desirable, including CompTIA Security+.
• Certifications are highly desirable, including GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) or GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA).
• Certifications are highly desirable, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

Responsibilities:

• We implement and maintain security technologies including SIEM, endpoint protection, identity security and vulnerability management tools.
• We configure, optimise and manage security platforms to ensure effective monitoring and protection.
• We develop and maintain log ingestion pipelines and security telemetry across infrastructure and applications.
• We integrate security tools across cloud and on-premise environments.
• We develop, tune and enhance detection rules to identify suspicious activity across networks, systems and user behaviour.
• We monitor security alerts and investigate potential threats and anomalies.
• We establish and improve incident response, triage and remediation processes.

We are hiring a Cyber Security Operations Lead to join our growing technology team in Milton Keynes on a hybrid basis. This is a permanent role offering a salary of £70,000 to £82,000 plus benefits.
