Job Description

Salary: £56,000 - 96,000 per year

Requirements:
  • We are looking for someone who is aware of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • We need previous experience of being involved in or leading elements of a project, using basic project management tools and techniques.
  • We are looking for presentation skills and the ability to deliver training.
  • Some knowledge of IT systems such as M-Type, SCE, TMS and Info View is ideal.
  • We need strong data analysis and solution design capability.
  • We require proficiency in MS tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams and BI.
  • We are looking for experience working closely with operations and building effective working relationships.
  • We need experience implementing change in a challenging environment.
  • We are looking for experience working in a project environment and supporting improvement activity.
Responsibilities:
  • We will rely on you to oversee delivery of the site CI plan and act as PMO for the site while supporting the Operational Excellence Strategy.
  • You will help facilitate change activity on site to deliver safety, quality, cost, delivery and people benefits.
  • You will monitor and support delivery of the site CI plan, working with site teams, the CLL Regional CI Manager and the broader Projects team.
  • You will ensure all site CI activity goes through the appropriate gateways and sign-off.
  • You will report progress, risks, issues and benefits relating to all site-based CI and project activity.
  • You will work with site colleagues to identify opportunities for improvements in health and safety, quality, cost, service and engagement.
  • You will track and report on benefits identified and realised locally at site.
  • You will support more effective site resource planning to realise bottom-line improvement.
  • You will lead the delivery of small projects to unlock benefit.
  • You will support the upskilling and coaching of colleagues on site in basic CI, problem solving and workstream management.
  • You will support major system change on site where required, including requirements gathering, process mapping and problem solving.
  • You will support gathering data for diagnostics, solution design and benefits tracking.
  • You will support delivery and governance of new operational processes to ensure change is sustained.
  • You will work with the site Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator and senior teams to keep colleagues up to date on change and CI activity through the site communication strategy and plan.
  • You will support senior stakeholder engagement.
  • You will support delivery of the business-wide Change and CI strategy, including diagnostic activity, sharing good practice and role modelling the right behaviours.
