C# Developer

Requirements:

• We require strong experience with C# and desktop application development.
• We require experience with WPF and WinForms.
• We require knowledge of JavaScript, SQL, and Oracle.
• We require experience working with Visual C#.NET and the .NET Framework.
• We require experience with SQL Server and Oracle databases, including T-SQL and PL/SQL.
• We require experience supporting and troubleshooting applications in production and related environments.
• We require experience with system implementation, testing, and release coordination.
• We require experience with Citrix, Windows operating systems, and Internet Information Server.
• We require experience producing technical and user-facing documentation.
• We require the ability to work with business users and technical teams across development, support, network, infrastructure, and DBA functions.

Responsibilities:

• We develop WPF applications in Visual C#.NET.
• We support and enhance existing WinForms applications.
• We work with applications built in related languages such as MS VBA for Excel and Access, MS VB, and MS Excel Macros.
• We analyse business requirements and business data to design application structures.
• We define database objects and provide SQL scripts for data analysis.
• We test applications with users and support implementation through Development, QA, Production, and Disaster Recovery environments.
• We support users and write operational documentation, including user manuals.
• We set up system distribution methods for Citrix and application servers for web and Windows applications.
• We troubleshoot system failures and implement fixes across Windows, IIS, and related environments.
• We liaise with support teams, developers, network and infrastructure teams, and DBAs to resolve issues.
• We assess the impact of data processing loads on SQL and Oracle databases and suggest alternative approaches where needed.
• We roll out changes in coordination with the Release Manager and maintain application change history.
• We update existing systems where necessary to reflect changes in Microsoft .NET and Visual Studio platforms.
