Business Performance Analyst

Salary: £36,000 - 36,000 per year

Requirements:

• Ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical people
• Previous business analyst experience is an advantage
• High-level working knowledge of SQL and Excel
• Knowledge of Power BI and GIS is an advantage
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Report-writing experience using Power BI, Report Builder, Excel, or other relevant software
• Ability to analyse complex datasets
• Proactive and forward-thinking

Responsibilities:

• Gather requirements from stakeholders to understand business needs and identify opportunities for analysis
• Collect and cleanse large datasets from various sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency
• Produce analytical tools, reports, and key performance indicators to improve stakeholder processes and service levels
• Analyse data across areas including GPS, Finance, HR, QHSE, and management information systems
• Develop, generate, and present reports to senior management, operations, technical and support teams, and external clients
• Present ideas to the Digital Transformation Manager and, if approved, lead work on those projects
• Understand management systems and recommend changes to continuously improve them for operational employees
