Business Intelligence Developer

Salary: £40,000 - 40,000 per year

Requirements:

• We ideally want experience developing reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Fabric and SSRS.
• We need strong SQL/T-SQL development skills, including querying and optimisation.
• We value an excellent understanding of data quality, validation and reconciliation.
• Experience delivering performance reporting and regulatory returns is desirable.
• We need the ability to interpret complex business requirements and deliver practical reporting solutions.
• We want excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with colleagues at all levels.

Responsibilities:

• We design, develop and maintain robust data models, reports and dashboards using Power BI, Microsoft Fabric and SSRS.
• We support the ongoing development of our new enterprise data warehouse alongside the Data Engineer.
• We produce accurate KPI reporting and statutory returns, including SDR, TSM and Housemark submissions.
• We optimise and enhance existing reports to improve performance, usability and efficiency.
• We validate data and maintain high standards of data quality, governance and consistency.
• We work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
• We communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, enabling informed decision-making across the organisation.
