Biostatistician

Salary: £42,000 - 54,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require a Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Statistics, or Medical Statistics.
• We require experience in SAS programming.
• We require knowledge of advanced statistical methods and the pharmaceutical industry.
• We require knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines for drug development.
• Previous experience in a pharmaceutical company or CRO is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• We contribute to clinical development plan preparation.
• We review study protocols and prepare statistical methodologies.
• We develop detailed Data Analysis Plans for assigned projects.
• We program study analyses, review study results, and prepare the statistical methods section for clinical and statistical reports.
• We communicate project requirements for CRF design, database design, and database clean-up to ensure key study variables are suitable for analysis.
• We communicate statistical results to medical writing personnel to ensure accurate interpretation.
• We present the Biostatistics function at conferences, external non-study meetings, and bid defense meetings.
