Backend Developer

Salary: £80,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience developing software with Python
• Strong experience with Django and modern web application development
• A good understanding of the full product development lifecycle, from discovery and planning through to deployment and ongoing improvement
• Strong software architecture and design skills, with an appreciation for writing clean, maintainable and scalable code
• Experience working across different layers of an application, with an interest in infrastructure and cloud technologies
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality software
• A confident, positive communication style and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different disciplines

Responsibilities:

• Take the lead on new projects from the earliest stages of research and technical planning through to architecture, development and final deployment
• Influence both the technology and the direction of the products we build
• Work with a small team to solve problems and come up with technical-led ideas

We are developing a new suite of products and offer the opportunity to work on new projects from the earliest stages through to deployment. This role is onsite/hybrid in central London with a salary of up to £100,000 depending on experience.
