Salary: £61,000 - 101,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require a PhD in a relevant topic.
• We require experience in software development in Python.
• We require experience with at least one ML framework such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• We require experience working with LLMs, knowledge graphs, or graph machine learning.
• We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in Natural Language Processing, including information extraction, text-mining, and entity linking.
• We are particularly interested in candidates with experience applying LLMs to defence problems.
• We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in graph machine learning tasks in applied or foundational settings.
• We are particularly interested in candidates with experience with graph-structured data, relational and graph databases, and graph algorithms.
• We are interested in candidates with familiarity in knowledge representation, ontology design, and semantic or LLM-based reasoning.
• We are interested in candidates with experience with graph machine learning packages such as PyTorch-Geometric or PyKeen, and knowledge graph toolkits such as Neo4j.

Responsibilities:

• We propose and lead novel research in given topic areas.
• We lead technical delivery of small project teams.
• We prepare and deliver technical reports, technical proposals, and supporting material.
• We develop prototypes and proof of concept demonstrators.
• We take ownership of tasks in projects and deliver to challenging standards.
• We effectively present results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
