Job Description

Salary: £47,000 - 87,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Experience administering enterprise SaaS at 1,000+ seats, ideally including an AI or LLM platform.
  • Ability to build and ship working software, not only configure vendor products; proficiency in Python or a comparable language, with everyday use of version control, CI, containers, and secrets management.
  • Experience integrating with LLM and SaaS APIs, and working familiarity with agent and tool-use patterns, including MCP or equivalent tool-calling architectures.
  • Working knowledge of identity and access management, including Okta or an equivalent IdP, OAuth, SCIM, SSO, and federated machine identity.
  • Operational discipline, including familiarity with intake queues, SLAs, runbooks, and escalation practices, and a habit of documenting fixes.
  • Ability to explain technical capabilities to audiences such as compliance teams, traders, and backend engineers.
  • Clear written communication for technical documentation, runbooks, and policy pages.
  • Good judgment in deciding which capabilities the organization needs to build or adopt.
  • Nice to have: Experience establishing an internal developer or AI platform, including self-service and guardrail layers.
  • Nice to have: Exposure to FinOps or software asset management.
  • Nice to have: Experience with low-code or workflow automation platforms.
  • Nice to have: In-depth Atlassian administration experience with Jira, Confluence, or JSM.
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with regulated-industry audit and evidence work in financial services.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and build the technical layer of our AI platform, from integrations to production runbooks, identifying capability gaps and addressing them through vendor evaluation or internal development.
  • Own our governed integration gateway, including connector onboarding, authentication flows such as OAuth and federated identity, reliability, and vendor escalations.
  • Build internal platform tooling, including agent scaffolding, reusable skills and prompt assets, model-change evaluation harnesses, provisioning automation, and integrations with systems of record.
  • Configure and operate tiered AI spend controls, including role- and tier-based caps, alerting, exception queues, monthly vendor-commitment reconciliations, and cap-automation improvements.
  • Implement technical controls for data handling, retention, and model eligibility, including identity integration, SSO and SCIM, role- and tier-based entitlements, and workspace configuration.
  • Work directly with teams to understand their workflows and build or configure tools that help them use AI effectively.
  • Deliver technical enablement through rollout deep dives, model-release office hours, and authoritative engineering guidance in knowledge-base materials.
  • Administer our enterprise AI estate end to end, including model turn-ups, feature enablement and deprecation, provisioning queues, vendor configurations, and seat true-ups.
