Agentic Technical Lead

Salary: £56,000 - 96,000 per year

Requirements:

• We need significant experience leading AI, machine learning, or agentic AI projects from concept through production.
• We need strong software engineering skills using languages such as Python or TypeScript.
• We need experience designing cloud-native solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• We need expertise in systems architecture, APIs, integration patterns, and modern data pipelines.
• We need a track record of translating business objectives into practical technical solutions.
• We need experience leading technical teams and coordinating delivery across multiple workstreams.
• We need knowledge of AI governance, security, risk management, and responsible AI practices.
• We need excellent communication skills with experience working directly with executive stakeholders.
• We need a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline, or equivalent commercial experience.

Responsibilities:

• We lead the design, architecture, and delivery of agentic AI solutions for consulting engagements.
• We translate business challenges into scalable AI architectures and technical roadmaps.
• We guide multidisciplinary engineering teams through end-to-end solution delivery.
• We conduct technical discovery sessions with senior stakeholders and executive teams.
• We review architecture, code quality, and engineering standards to ensure robust delivery.
• We evaluate AI tools, frameworks, and platforms to recommend the most appropriate technologies.
• We run proofs of concept and technical experiments to validate solution approaches.
• We ensure solutions meet requirements for security, scalability, governance, and compliance.
• We document technical decisions, risks, and outcomes for both technical and executive audiences.
• We mentor engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery methodologies and best practices.
