Azure DevOps Engineer

Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• At least 3 years experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role
• Practical experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerisation
• Experience with Git or Azure Repos
• Understanding of Agile or Lean methodologies
• Familiarity with code quality and security tools
• Proactive and detail-oriented approach
• Desirable: SaaS industry experience
• Desirable: Penetration testing or security certification
• Desirable: Experience with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
• Desirable: Familiarity with blue/green and canary deployment strategies

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Automate build, test, deployment, and infrastructure provisioning processes
• Manage Azure resources using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
• Support applications running in Azure App Services, Function Apps, and other Azure services
• Integrate tools for automated testing, code quality, and security, such as SonarCloud and Snyk
• Set up monitoring and incident response using Azure Monitor and Application Insights
• Manage secrets and access control to support secure cloud practices
• Work with developers and stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable solutions
