Customer Support Engineer
Job Description
Salary: £55,000 - 55,000 per year
Requirements:- Proven experience managing technical operations and customer-facing contracts, ideally in communications or defence sectors
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and external contractors
- Deep understanding of downlink communication systems and field operations, including installations, commissioning, and maintenance
- Ability to tailor technical explanations to suit diverse audiences, from end-users to senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated customer-focused mindset, with a proactive approach to service delivery and relationship building
- Provide support to a wide range of customers and projects to help us meet our business objectives
- Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders in a customer-facing role
- Apply our skills to complete tasks on time

This Customer Support Engineer role is mainly site-based, supporting customer operations across various locations, with the remaining time split between office-based and remote working. We offer a salary of up to £55,000 doe, a 3% to 6% annual bonus, a company pension, life cover and death in service, private healthcare, competitive annual leave, flexible working when not travelling, and a company credit card when travelling.
