Robotics Software Engineer C#

Salary: £60,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• Several years of commercial software engineering experience
• Strong programming skills in C#, .NET, or other C-family languages
• Experience within a robotics environment
• Experience working with hardware and testing software on physical systems
• A methodical, evidence-driven approach to problem solving, drawing upon multiple sources of data to identify root causes
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams
• Python experience would be advantageous
• UK working rights required; no sponsorship is offered for this role

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance software capabilities across usability, speed, accuracy, and system calibration
• Analyse logs, user feedback, observations, and experimental data to identify software improvements and diagnose issues
• Investigate and resolve complex bugs using an evidence-based and data-driven approach
• Test and validate our own software directly on robotic machines, working hands-on with hardware
• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to prioritise and deliver new features and enhancements
• Ensure software changes are robust, well-tested, and suitable for deployment in production environments
