Solutions Architect

Salary: £65,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experienced Solutions Architect with a background in managed WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi and security services.
• Good understanding of enterprise Wi-Fi technologies, including CAPWAP, WPA, 802.1X, mesh networking and wireless controllers.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of how to balance technical excellence with customer and business requirements.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to pass BPSS and relevant security clearance checks.

Responsibilities:

• Design tailored LAN and WAN solutions aligned to customer requirements and technical capabilities.
• Work closely with Sales and Account Management teams to understand customer needs and develop compelling technical propositions.
• Lead technical discussions, customer meetings and solution reviews, translating complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation, including Statements of Work (SOWs), High-Level Designs (HLDs), network schematics and associated solution documentation.
• Collaborate with Service Delivery, Sales and Account Management teams to support new business opportunities, renewals and existing customer relationships.
• Ensure solutions are technically robust, commercially viable and deliver long-term customer value.
• Maintain accurate activity and opportunity information within CRM systems.
• Contribute to the development of a significant sales pipeline and support the wider pre-sales function.

We are a growing technical team looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to help design innovative network infrastructure solutions and support customers throughout the sales lifecycle. Based in Solihull, this is a hybrid role with approximately 2 days per month in our office. We offer a salary of £65,000 - £80,000 plus commission and car allowance, along with 33 days holiday including bank holidays, private medical insurance and enhanced pension contributions. You will work closely with Sales, Account Management and Service Delivery teams, acting as the technical authority from initial customer engagement through to solution delivery.
