IT Manager

Salary: £39,862 - 42,839 per year

Requirements:

• We are seeking someone with appropriate technical knowledge.
• We need someone who understands how to support the needs of a large and busy organisation.
• We are looking for someone who can quickly get to grips with a complex infrastructure.
• We need someone with the ability to take a strategic approach in the rapidly changing landscapes of education and technology.
• Related or equivalent experience of 3 years is preferred.
• Ability to commute to, or relocate to, Brighton and Hove, East Sussex is preferred.
• United Kingdom work authorisation is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• We will expect you to lead the Network Services Team.
• You will work closely with our Senior Leadership Team on strategy as part of the school development plan.
• You will support the needs of curriculum, pastoral and business colleagues.
• You will help ensure that our systems are highly functional and secure.
• You will take a broad remit across the schools IT and systems support needs.
• You will engage daily with colleagues across Administration, Attendance, Curriculum, Data Management, Data Protection, Exams, Facilities, Finance, HR, Pastoral, Safeguarding, Senior Leadership, Special Educational Needs, Teaching and Learning.
• You will communicate with students who require support where needed.
• You will work onsite in a full-time, year-round role.
