Salary: £93,600 - 114,400 per year

Responsibilities:

• We validate hosted telephony programming, number routing, and service configuration during installations and migrations.
• We deliver professional customer handovers and training.
• We troubleshoot telecoms and connectivity issues where required.
• We design, deploy and optimise business Wi-Fi solutions.
• We conduct wireless surveys and site assessments.
• We configure and support Ubiquiti UniFi environments.
• We install and commission routers, switches and networking equipment.
• We diagnose and resolve complex Wi-Fi and networking issues.
• We provide advice and recommendations on network design and performance.
• We lead technical delivery on larger installations.
• We work alongside installers and engineers to ensure projects are completed to a high standard.
• We validate solutions before deployment.
• We identify risks and technical challenges prior to installation.
• We ensure projects are completed correctly, professionally and on time.
• We produce clear installation documentation and handover information.
• We support technical scoping for customer opportunities.
• We recommend appropriate solutions based on customer requirements.
• We assist Atlantic Comms in developing its managed Wi-Fi and networking services.
• We act as a trusted technical expert for both existing and prospective customers.

Atlantic Comms is a growing telecommunications and technology provider delivering hosted telephony, connectivity, Wi-Fi and networking solutions to businesses throughout Devon and Cornwall. This is a freelance / contractor opportunity based in North Devon, covering Devon and Cornwall, with flexible working arrangements and the potential for regular work. The rate is £45 to £55 per hour depending on experience, and the role involves site-based work, technical consultancy, installation leadership and problem solving.
