Manager - ERP SCM Functional Architect SME

Salary: £50,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for experience in ERP functional architecture, specifically in Supply Chain within Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM.
• Manufacturing experience is not required, but it is considered a strong advantage.
• Experience with areas such as Production Control, Shop Floor, Lean/Process manufacturing, or costing is beneficial if you have Manufacturing experience.
• Experience working across global ERP programs is important.
• Strong ability to lead workshops across supply chain functions.
• Ability to act as a trusted advisor to Supply Chain, Operations, and Logistics leaders.
• Ability to communicate complex functional requirements and solution designs in clear, business-oriented language.
• Experience ensuring functional governance, solution integrity, and design quality across delivery teams.
• Ability to support estimation, solution assurance, and design reviews during pre-sales and delivery.
• Ability to identify and manage functional risks, dependencies, and integration points across supply chain workstreams.
• Experience contributing to global delivery standards, templates, accelerators, and solution patterns.
• Ability to mentor functional consultants and contribute to capability-building within a global ERP community.

Responsibilities:

• We design and deliver intelligent, scalable supply chain solutions on Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM during pre-sales and delivery.
• We lead the functional architecture of D365 F&SCM across global ERP programs.
• We develop solution blueprints, process maps, fit-gap analysis, and cross-functional integration designs.
• We embed AI capabilities such as demand forecasting, stocking optimization, anomaly detection, and intelligent replenishment into solution designs.
• We contribute to Manufacturing solution design if we have relevant experience.
• We participate in Communities of Practice.
• We act as trusted advisors to Supply Chain, Operations, and Logistics leaders.
• We engage with clients during the pre-sales stage to position Avanade as a preferred business partner.
• We lead workshops across procurement, inventory, warehousing, logistics, planning, and product management.
• We support clients adopting Copilot, AI-augmented planning, and predictive operational insights.
• We ensure functional governance, solution integrity, and design quality across global delivery teams.
• We support estimation, solution assurance, and design reviews throughout pre-sales and delivery.
• We identify and manage functional risks, dependencies, and integration points across supply chain workstreams.
• We contribute to global delivery standards, templates, accelerators, and solution patterns.
• We support regions in scaling AI-enabled supply chain capabilities and ensuring consistent adoption and quality.
• We mentor functional consultants and help build capability within the global ERP community.
