Impairment Modelling Lead

Salary: £65,000 - 105,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are ideally looking for 5-10 years experience in developing impairment models.
• We are looking for strong experience in team leadership roles.
• We need proficiency in analytical tools, specifically Python.
• Graduate-level education is preferable, ideally in a numerical degree or equivalent work experience.
• We need a proven ability to interpret and comply with regulatory requirements.
• We are looking for proven experience in influencing, negotiation, and relationship management.
• We value being organised, flexible, and adaptable, with the ability to switch between tasks seamlessly.
• We need strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• We are looking for excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities:

• We will own the end-to-end development, execution, and maintenance of IFRS 9 models.
• We will work closely with stakeholders to ensure model developments meet business requirements.
• We will produce detailed model documentation, including methodology, assumptions, and limitations.
• We will monitor model performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure accuracy and stability.
• We will collaborate with model validation teams to address findings and ensure our models are robust.
