Engineer I, People Technology, Integrations

Salary: £45,000 - 83,000 per year

Requirements:

• At least 1 years experience in any integration or technical field with a desire to specialise in Workday integrations.
• Ability to monitor integration health, troubleshoot data flow issues, and investigate system failure alerts across connected platforms.
• Enjoy working across People, Finance, and Technology teams to improve system interoperability and operational processes.
• Experience managing system testing, feature deployments, platform upgrades, and creating clear technical documentation.
• Strong desire to deepen technical knowledge in Workday, integrations, and the broader People Tech ecosystem.
• Creative problem-solving skills with a strong customer service mindset, a positive can-do attitude, and a willingness to learn and develop.
• Capable of researching independently to find solutions to various issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English, with the ability to coordinate seamlessly with People and global technology teams.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain Workday modules and support the integrity of data flows between Workday and integrated downstream systems.
• Configure and support business processes, security roles, workflows, notifications, dashboards, and reports.
• Monitor integration health, investigate failures, and proactively resolve recurring issues before they impact stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot data, process, and system issues affecting People Tech integrations and provide ongoing support to internal teams.
• Take part in system testing, upgrades, releases, and feature deployments, with a focus on integration readiness and regression coverage.
• Author clear technical documentation, integration runbooks, support guides, and knowledge base entries to support the team and downstream users.
• Partner with People, Finance, IT, and other corporate technology stakeholders to improve end-to-end system connectivity and user experience.
• Support and enhance integrations with third-party platforms across the People ecosystem, helping ensure data quality, process efficiency, and operational resilience.
