Associate Data Scientist - Operations Research

Salary: £51,000 - 91,000 per year

Requirements:

• Masters or PhD in Operations Research, Mathematics, Management Science or a closely related field with a focus on optimisation
• Strong foundation in mathematical optimisation or mathematical programming
• Solid knowledge of probability and statistics
• Excellent programming skills in Python and core ML tooling (e.g. SQL, PyTorch, etc.)
• Exposure to dynamic pricing, auction design, or marketplace matching problems is nice to have

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineers, Data Scientists, designers, and product managers to solve ambiguous problems
• Research, prototype, and ship ML and optimisation models into production
• Continuously improve existing algorithms and identify opportunities for new ones
