Vice President, Risk Specialist Senior ServiceNow Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:

• 5+ years of technical experience with implementing and supporting ServiceNow.
• In-depth understanding and implementation experience with the ServiceNow IRM module.
• Strong understanding of risk management and ServiceNow best practices.
• Expertise in root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques for complex IT issues.
• Proven experience ensuring compliance with regulatory standards in the financial/technology sector (DORA experience preferred).
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
• Degree-level education, ideally in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant and current ServiceNow certifications.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as ITIL and COBIT.
• Experience working in regulated environments, particularly in finance, insurance, or critical infrastructure.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to operate with urgency and prioritize work in a structured, logical manner.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the ServiceNow product set, focusing on development and operational delivery.
• Manage the day-to-day technical aspects of the ServiceNow Product suite, specifically GRC, IRM, BCM, and TPRM.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions that optimize automation and integration.
• Triage and estimate incoming enhancements and platform requests.
• Ensure all enhancements and integrations align with out-of-the-box best practices to maintain a high Health Scan score.
• Provide technical governance, guidance, and approval for submitted changes.
• Manage preparations and testing for platform upgrades.
• Collaborate with process owners to ensure smooth transitions for future automations.
• Identify and implement platform enhancements from new releases to deliver cost savings or efficiency improvements.
• Design and perform hands-on development of complex and critical solutions.
• Manage all audit and IT Security requirements for EMEA and Tokyo Head Office.
• Create and maintain documentation including Policy, Process, Procedures, and technical reference materials.
• Oversee development and administrative tasks performed by junior and off-shore team members.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships globally to share best practices and support the One MUFG strategy.
