Junior Cyber Security Support Analyst

Salary: £26,100 - 26,100 per year

• A strong interest in cyber security and information technology.
• Excellent attention to detail and a willingness to follow established processes.
• Good communication skills and the ability to provide professional customer service.
• An eagerness to learn new technologies and develop technical skills.
• Basic knowledge of computer systems, networking, or cyber security concepts would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with monitoring client systems for security alerts and suspicious activity.
• Support the deployment and maintenance of security software, including antivirus and endpoint protection tools.
• Help perform routine cyber security checks and ensure systems remain up to date with the latest patches.
• Assist with user account administration, including password resets and multi-factor authentication setup.
• Record and document security incidents, support requests, and resolutions within the service desk system.
• Work with senior engineers to investigate security concerns and implement preventative measures.
