Product Owner, Deposits Enablement

Salary: £90,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:

• A number of years related experience in financial services, with deposits product experience preferred.
• A number of years of product experience and agile ways of working.
• Ability to break down highly complex initiatives into small epics and stories that deliver incremental business value.
• Effective collaboration skills.
• Ability to influence, make hard decisions, and solve problems.
• Passion for changing the status quo and driving out-of-the-box thinking.
• Ability to adapt and lead through change.
• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, computer science engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.

Responsibilities:

• Work as a product analyst on a deposit component, contributing to the platforms strategic objectives and key results using product-specific data, metrics, and goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in operations and client teams to translate business needs into epics and stories.
• Prioritize work based on business value, using estimated new revenue, operational KPI and KRI, and other metrics.
• Provide day-to-day direction to guide the pod, clarifying story details and acceptance criteria.
• Escalate issues to managers when needed.
• Identify and triage issues with specific features while understanding how multiple features are interrelated and catching more complex problems.
• Define measurement and instrumentation for products to analyze results after release and launch.
• Assess the quality of existing UX and make recommendations to improve user experience.
• Create wireframes independently and in coordination with the design team.
• Sign off on stories through active participation in validation and Sprint Reviews.
• Facilitate handoff of stories requiring operational readiness, training, or adoption, and continue tracking metrics to drive future stories.
• Foster agile ways of working, DevOps, and automated testing.
