Forward Deployed Software Engineer

Salary: £54,000 - 94,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong engineering background, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science
• Highly analytical mindset with eagerness to solve technical problems using data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools
• Experience or interest in using large-scale data to solve valuable business problems
• Strong coding ability with demonstrated proficiency in Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar languages
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams in a rapidly changing environment
• Ability to continuously learn, work independently, and make decisions with minimal supervision
• Willingness and interest to travel as needed to client sites; travel of 25-50% is preferred, though requirements vary by team and location

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with fellow engineers on architecture and design decisions
• Work with massive-scale data and use AI to accelerate and enhance critical operations
• Develop custom applications tailored to customer needs
• Engage directly with customer stakeholders, from technical teams to executives
• Shape team strategy and drive projects from ideation to deployment
• Own the end-to-end execution and implementation of high-stakes projects in small, agile teams
